Rigid Heddle Weaving Workshop – 6-Hour (All Materials Included)
All Levels Welcome
Join us for a 6-hour weaving workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this class is designed to meet you where you are.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through the weaving process — from a breif demonstration on how to warp the loom and choosing your yarns, to weaving techniques and finishing your piece. By the end of the day, you'll take home a beautiful woven textile (such as a scarf, wall hanging, or sampler) that you created yourself.
All materials and use of equipment are included. Looms will be pre-threaded for beginners to jump right in, but those interested in learning the warping process can also get hands-on experience, if they let me know in advance.
Expect a relaxed, supportive environment with plenty of room for creativity and questions.
What’s included:
Use of a rigid heddle loom
A curated selection of yarns and tools
Printed handouts for continued learning
Light refreshments
Duration: 6 hours (with a break for lunch)
